Poised vs every serious AI headshot tool
Eight head-to-head comparisons on the things that decide it: price, photos required, turnaround, resolution and likeness. Every figure comes from the vendor's own published pages, and where a vendor does not publish one, the table says so. We built Poised after studying these tools, so the conflict of interest is declared up front and the numbers are all checkable.
Every tool, side by side
Starting price, how many photos you have to hand over, how long you wait, and what resolution you get back. Figures come from each vendor's own published pages where they publish them — several do not.

Poised is the only row in that table you can use right now without paying, uploading a batch or creating an account — and at 819 × 1024 px the resolution gap that usually separates free tools from paid ones has largely closed. What the money still buys elsewhere is a model trained on your own face; each comparison below sets out exactly what that changes.

How we compare
Vendor pages first
Prices, turnaround and specs come from each company's own published pages wherever they publish them. Where a vendor does not publish a number, we say "not published" instead of guessing.
Criticism must be cited
Every weakness we list traces to a named source — Trustpilot, G2, Product Hunt, or an independent review. We do not invent flaws, and we flag when a criticism comes from a direct competitor.
We state our own trade-offs
Poised generates from one photo rather than training a private model on your face. That appears in every table on this site, not only the flattering ones.
Corrections welcome
If a price or spec here is out of date, it is a mistake rather than a tactic. These pages are revised as vendors change their pricing.
The cheapest way to find out is to try the free one
